We use The Wahana Gili Ocean II (60 seats boat) as primary boat for daily transfer. The Wahana Gili Ocean I (32 seats boat) is operated normally on high season or if the primary boat is overloaded. That is, with 60 + 32 seats available, the passengers should not be worry for any overload issue with Wahana Gili Ocean fast boat.

All boats are equipped with safety equipment and environment. Led by well trained and experienced captains and crews, and powered by well maintained engines.

Pick Up Info

Departing Instruction

Departing in Bali:

  • Our fare includes free pickup for several areas. Such as: Denpasar, Bali airport, Sanur, Kuta, Seminyak, Legian, Kerobokan, Central Jimbaran, Ubud Center, Candidasa. All pickup cars depart on 06.30 from Wahana Gili Ocean head office in Klungkung. Passengers on the furthest point will be picked up first. Passengers should be ready at lobby of their hotel / villa around 06.30 – 07.15 for pickup service.
  • Passenger who wants to use pickup service but outside of pickup coverage areas would be charged for extra fee. Please contact us for the detail.
  • Passenger who doesn’t want to use our pickup service should reach Wahana Gili Ocean check-in counter in Padangbai harbor. Please be aware there are many fast boat check-in counters in Padangbai harbor. You may notice staffs with Wahana Gili Ocean’s logo on their shirt.
  • Register your presence to our check-in staff and inform them about your baggage and belonging. The staff will ask for your original itinerary (ticket) and replace it with a new ticket. Keep this new ticket during your boat trip.
  • After check-in, please wait for the boat at the jetty.
  • Porters will load your baggage on the boat before you take a place on the boat.
  • Get in the boat carefully and hold the grip tight.
  • We allocate the sufficient number of seats on each boat. But the seats are not numbered. Please pick the available seat for you and please respect other passengers.

Departing in Lombok / Gili Trawangan:

  • Our fare exclusive pickup service in Lombok area. Please be on Teluk Kodek harbor at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure time.
  • Register your presence to our check-in staff (you may notice Wahana Gili Ocean’s logo on their shirt). The staff will ask for your original itinerary (ticket) and replace it with a new ticket. Keep this new ticket during your boat trip.
  • After check-in, please wait for the boat at the jetty.
  • Porters will load your baggage on the boat before you take a place on the boat.
  • Get in the boat carefully and hold the grip tight.
  • We allocate the sufficient number of seats on each boat, but the seats are not numbered. Please pick the available seat for you and please respect other passengers.

 

 

Arriving Instruction
Arriving in Bali:

  • Our staff will inform you once the boat is approaching Padangbai harbor in Bali. You may get ready and preparing for arriving.
  • After the boat moored on the jetty, you can step outside to the jetty. Watch your steps carefully and hold the grip tight. Check your belonging before leaving the boat.
  • Porters will unload the baggage. Pick your baggage and make sure nothing is left.
  • After all passengers get their baggage and are ready to leave the harbor, our staff will guide the passengers who want to use free drop off service to the car area.
  • Please follow our staff instruction for drop off service. Each car has it’s own itinerary. You may ask to the staff which car is suitable for your destination.
  • Please check all your belonging and baggage before leaving the shuttle car.

Arriving in Lombok / Bali:

  • Our staff will inform you once the boat is approaching Teluk Kodek harbor (Lombok) or Gili Trawangan harbor. You may get ready and preparing for arriving.
  • After the boat stop, you can step outside to the beach. Watch your steps carefully and hold the grip tight. Check your belonging before leaving the boat.
  • Porters will unload the baggage. Pick your baggage and make sure nothing is left.
  • We do not provide overland shuttle service in Lombok / Gili Trawangan. If you have someone waiting for you, please make sure you meet him. There are some touts in Lombok harbor offering overland shuttle. If you are finally dealing with one of them, get a good price. We can also arrange an overland transport in Lombok if you request before boat departure in Bali. Alternatively you may call a metered taxi in Lombok: +62-370-627000 (Blue Bird Taxi).

Term & Condition

Terms and Conditions:

Boat terms and conditions booking through Island Promotions.

Full payment must be made prior to departure with a printed ticket as proof of payment and this ticket must be presented prior to boarding the vessel.

Passenger cancellation policy

No charge 4 weeks or more prior to departure.
Between 2 weeks and 1 week 50% of the ticket amount will be charged.
Between 1 week and 48 hours prior to departure 75% of the ticket amount will be charged.
No show or cancellations 48 hours prior to departure the full ticket amount will be charged.

Cancellations must be received in writing and any refund will be less administration charges and will include less any bank and administration transfer fees.

Island Promotions will not be held responsible for transport delays or cancellations due to a 3rd party carrier’s late departure. Late arrival or cancellation due to weather, technical or any other reason or difficulties encountered.

Island Promotions shall not be liable in any way for the cost of any accommodation or for any alternative means of travel which may arise through cancellations or delays. Additional expense so arising shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the passenger.

Island Promotions will not be held liable for any compensation claims for costs incurred due to a 3rd party carrier’s fault in delay or cancellation. Therefore there will be no responsibility taken for passengers. Who have any form of connecting transport or accommodation arranged if there are any delays or cancellations incurred.

The ‘carrier’ refers to any 3rd party transportation company.

Island promotions take every precaution to ensure safe travel. However passengers travel at their own risk. Passenger insurance is not provided and no responsibility is taken for any loss, accident, damage or injury’s incurred during the clients holiday.

Island Promotions does not include any form of insurance whatsoever. So we highly recommend you arrange travel insurance for your own personal protection. And in case of cancelled transportation or unforeseen circumstances.

Departure time is 30 minutes after boarding time. The boat will not wait if passengers are late.

Journey time is usually around 2 to 2 1/2 hours in good conditions. But can sometimes take longer due to weather conditions or other delays.

Boat operations reserve the right to cancel or modify the schedule in the interests of passenger safety. And will not be liable for compensation claims.

Alternative arrangements will be made where possible, with either no refund or part refund. Full refund will be given if alternative arrangements are not possible.

Schedules may be re-routed via Padang Bai due to poor weather conditions or other circumstances. Road transport to/from Padang Bai will be provided.

Terms of carriage

  1. This trip is not suitable for Pregnant women People with heart or back problems or other physical impediments Infant (children under 5 years old) not recommended for trip. However if their parents insists. They need to complete a Disclaimer Letter releasing the chosen boat and all its officers and/ or employees. Including agents from negligence and any further legal action by any party, prior to the trip commencement.
  2. Cancellation or No-Show or Late-Arrive fee: Full seats will be charged. For any cancellation made less than 2 days prior to guest departure for regular season. And 7 days prior to guest departure for high season (1 Jul – 30 Sept).
  3. Re-Schedule Trip Re-schedule is base on seats availability. And should be made 2 days prior to guest departure for regular season and 7 days prior to guest departure for high season.
  4. Refunds In the event of a trip cancellation from the company. The company shall refund any funds paid by the passenger direct to the company. Or any funds already paid by an agent to the company on the passenger’s behalf. The passenger is responsible for collecting any funds paid to agents which have not yet been paid to the company.
  5. For connecting Flights the fast boats are a point to point carrier. And we do not take responsibility for delays or connecting flights.
  6. Luggage Allowance Each passenger is entitled to a maximum of 2 pieces luggage carried free of charge, not exceeding a total weight of 25kgs. The company reserves the rights to check contents of any baggage. And to refuse baggage items. The company accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to luggage during transit.
  7. Road Transportation in Bali Road transportation is provided free of charge to/ from ONE SPECIFIC ADDRESS in designated areas of Bali. This address must be specified at the time of booking and cannot be changed. Our drivers are under strict instruction to refuse to take passengers to more than one location. Ie – they will not drive around trying to find a hotel if the passenger has not specified an address. Drop off destination in Bali may not be changed after departure.
  8. Children policy for children under 5 years old:

Parents should be aware since we are fast boat category. There will be a big possibility the trip will be bumpy.

Parents should be aware we do not include insurance for children under 5 years old. Children under 2 years old is free of charge. If the parents agree, they should sign our disclaimer letter.

SMOKING ON BOARD IS PROHIBITED

Insurance

Our fare includes insurance provided by PT. Jasa Raharja (visit www.jasaraharja.co.id).
The terms of claim should meet requirements from PT. Jasa Raharja. We have no liability for any excess payment.
All passengers are strongly suggested to have another travel insurance.
